The National Association for the Acceptance and Advancement of Fit People is a human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fit people.
We are an organization of fit individuals and supporters of fitness.
Fitness is a form of social responsibility.
Fit people use less sick care resources, earn more for the economy through superior attendance at work, keep their children safer from nutritional child abuse and display other qualities of better citizenship and social responsibility than the unfit.
Fit people are a minority group.
In terms of overweight and obesity, the majority of the population is unfit, i.e., they are overfat.
Fit people require protection.
A tyranny of the majority is on the rise.
Fit people already suffer from prejudice.
Unfit people demand and receive entitlements which fit people must underwrite. Fit people do not receive similar benefits.
Fit people remain unacknowledged and unappreciated for their responsible behaviors.
NAAAFP works to eliminate discrimination based on fitness
and provide fit and unfit people with the tools for self-empowerment through
education, advocacy and support.
We expect our work to these ends will evolve, as will this website.
